How do I clean my vinyl products?

Our vinyl products are easy to clean. Please remember to remove any literature or paper items from the product before cleaning. Remember to thoroughly dry the vinyl before attempting to reinsert literature, especially if you have cleaned inside a pocket. Any remaining moisture will damage your literature!

Dust, debris or spills

  1. Take a clean cloth or paper towel, wet with warm soapy water and wipe product until clean.
  2. Use a dry clean cloth or paper towel to wipe away any excess moisture and then allow to air dry fully or dry with a hair dryer on a low or cooler setting.

Sticky adhesive or tape residue

You can use simple rubbing alcohol or products like Goo Gone or Goof Off made for removing adhesive, tape or glue residue. (Note: Rubbing alcohol will work to remove some glue or adhesives from the vinyl but not all as there are many types of adhesives.)

  1. Take a clean cloth or paper towel and wet with rubbing alcohol or other similar adhesive removing product and wipe vinyl until clean. (For more stubborn adhesives you may need to soak the spot a bit longer, leaving a bit of the solution sitting on the spot for 5 – 10 minutes. Then wipe clean.)
  2. Take a cloth and wet with warm soapy water, wipe off any leftover cleaning product.
  3. Use a dry clean cloth or paper towel to wipe away any excess moisture and then allow to air dry fully or dry with a hair dryer on a low or cooler setting.
