Adding items to my cart.

When I try to add an item to my cart, I get a message that I must first indicate quantity. When I go to the quantity box, I see that there is already a 1 in the box. Since I only wanted 1 item, I changed nothing. I got the message. So, I went back to the item box and deleted the 1 and re-entered it. It didn't work, I still got the same message, I was to indicate the quantity. I didn't know what to do. I would really like to place the order soon, because it contains a gift with an oncoming date. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong, please?
