Please note that the following instructions apply to our leatherette products such as leatherette Bible covers, leatherette service folios, and leatherette briefcases. Leatherette (or Faux leather) is a less expensive, more durable synthetic alternative to real leather.

Step 1: Dust your product weekly with a microfiber cloth

Step 2: Mix a solution of warm water and liquid detergent solution

Scrub the surface and the back of the vinyl with a sponge until all visible dirt is removed.

Step 3: Rinse the surface with water

You can spray the water directly onto the vinyl. It is not porous and is very water-resistant. (IMPORTANT: This applies to leatherette and not genuine leather!)

Step 4: Allow the product to drip dry, outside if possible

Step 5: If stains are left, remove with an alcohol-based material, such as rubbing alcohol

Wet a cloth with the alcohol and rub until the stain is removed. Rewet it often for stubborn stains. Rinse the area with water thoroughly after you remove the stain. This will remove the leftover alcohol.
